Important Note: Do not forget to take a backup of your website before updating anything. Be sure that you can retrieve the old but working installation. If you are one of our customers, then we take a backup of your website everyday at midnight.
To access the admin panel of your site go to yoursite.com/wp-admin and log in with your username and password .
WordPress has built-in updates functionality. It automatically checks for updates and shows notifications if any updates are available.
You can check updates manually as well by clicking on Dashboard -> Updates.
Here you can see a list of plugins which need to be updated.
You can perform these updates by visiting the Plugins page. You will see a notification below each plugin that has updates available.
Just click or tap update now and the plugin update will be performed.
Try not to refresh or close the browser during the update process, if you close your browser tab or navigate to another webpage in the same tab you may break your WordPress website.
You can do bulk plugin updates by visiting the plugin page Dashboard -> Plugins . Hit ‘Updates Available’ tab where you can see a list of plugins which have updates available.
Select all of them, select Update from ‘Bulk Action’ drop-down and hit Apply .
