How to Install a Plugin

Install a Plugin using WordPress Plugin Search:

  1. To access the admin panel of your site go to yoursite.com/wp-admin and log in with your username and password .

  1. Navigate to plugins -> Add new.


  1. You can see the ‘Search plugin’ box. 


  1. Search the name of your desired plugin and you will get a list of plugin suggestions.


  1. Choose your plugin and click on ‘Install now’. After some time that button will change to activate. Click ‘Activate’.


       6. You can now start using your new plugin.
  

Install a Plugin using the WordPress Admin Plugin Upload:

  1. To access the admin panel of your site go to yoursite.com/wp-admin and log in with your username and password .

  1. Navigate to plugins -> Add new. Click on the ‘Upload Plugin’ button on top of the page.


  1. You can see the plugin upload form . Click on the ‘ Choose File ’ button and Select the zip file which you have downloaded from the plugin provider.



  1. After selecting the file , hit the Install now button. 

  1. WordPress will now upload the plugin file from your computer and install it for you. You will see a success message like this after the installation is finished.



  1. Click Activate plugin.

  2. You may now start using the new plugin.
